Return of the Living Dead!!!!!!!

Hello all my ZW friends and family,
 It has been a crazy almost 2 years down time with no zombies. I am seriously sorry but as we all know life happens but I am back to let you know the year of the zombie will be 2015!!!
I have so much planned for a bigger and better zombie walk and hopefully with the new additions we will be able to spread our cause to a larger audience and raise more money for a serious problem.

Some not so good news

Forgive me ZWFBC family and friends but this year the walk is on hiatus its not a forever thing but largely due to the fact that life happens and we need to raise funds for the event rather than coming out of pocket every time for supplies. Even with the help of our sponsors and generous friends its difficult. I am working with my co-founders on fundraiser event ideas and other ways to raise money for next year so we can do it up bigger and better than ever. Please continue to post zombie pics and other awesome stuff. If you would like to be able to help please contact me here or any of the other co-founders. Thank you for your continued support.

Meet Danni

Hi all! I am Danni the third and final co-founder of the Richland Zombie Walk!

From last years 1st annual Zombie Walk

Right now I am a SAHM (stay at home mom) but other than just being a mom I am a bookworm, photographer and armature survivalist. What I know about survival I learned from my husband. I have been married for 7 years and our son is almost 1. He was a big hit at this years zombie Walk.

Charm and I from this years Zombie Walk.

Becoming a parent has taught me a few things about life.

1. I never knew how much you could love one little human being as much as I love my son.

2. I would do anything to ensure his happiness and survival.

Which is why I started paying a little more attention to my husbands advise on the subject.

So if you are just your average every day person or surviving the zombie horde here are a few things you should always have on hand especially when traveling:

1. Blankets (you never know when you are going to need them)

2. A case of water

3. MRE's or protein bar's

4. A bug out bag full of essentials.

Those are just a few items that I would recommend to keep on hand or in your car. You never know when you'll need them!

A Change is coming!

Good evening Z-Walk friends and fam,

I have taken it up with my fellow coordinators and it has been decided that there will not be a Zombie Walk this year due to life getting in the way which is ok we all have to focus on ourselves and family from time to time.

This being a family organization we also have to look out for our own. So instead of a zombie walk there will be a series of fund raisers and we are open to suggestions and would be delighted to have volunteers.

There is nothing set up yet but that will come soon enough. The point of these little events is so that we can continue to have our big event in the future and not have to come out of pocket for the majority of the expenses.

Also its a great way to advertise and keep people aware that we are still here not just once a year in October.

So if you have any questions/comments/etc please feel free to drop us a line and let us know whats on your mind.
