Hi everyone! I bet you recognize me from last years zombie walk... I was a pretty nasty zombie...
Since the last walk I was promoted to co-founder and admin so I'd like to show you a glimpse behind the makeup...
First off, this is what I look like on a normal day... Currently I am changing my hair color every few months so right now it's pink. And before I forget, you can call me Charm!When I worked at the movie theater (in the late 90's) one of my favorite things to do was promotions for the movies. My two favorites were Tomb Raider and The Lord of the Rings.
Naturally I gravitated towards the walk, and helping out here and there. The walk was just like the movie promotions but getting attention for something else. Something far more important. AWARENESS. Plus you're having fun in the meantime. Why not? (Also Oliver is a pretty great guy and fun to hang out with too) So I had my friends back and participated in the 1st zombie walk. My boys learned the Thriller dance and we had a blast.
Last year's I was more involved and offered ideas and more support, especially when I volunteered to do makeup. This was huge for me. I'd done face painting here and there (easy stuff) but I really challenged myself because I wanted to help out. So, luckily my friend you tube and Oliver helped me learn.
This year I am in full swing. I want to make the zombie walk bigger and better! Have more activities, have more fun, spread more awareness.
A little fun info about me...
I really love to do crafts, make crazy cakes, travel, and hang out with friends and family. My favorite movie is The Crow, and favorite cartoon movie is Alice in Wonderland.
I try to be crunchy and do my share to help the enviornment. We own a few german vehicles, but my favorite one is our vw bus. It's a frankenstein bus with an engine from a subaru wrx! Super fast! (all the hubby's doing tho).
I have a couple of tattoos and my favorite holiday is Dia de los Muertos.
